A native Oregonian, Patricia is a signature member of the Northwest Watercolor Society, and is an active member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon, Colored Pencil Society of America, Oregon Society of Artists and SPLASH, a professional artist group. She has received national awards from the Northwest Watercolor Society, “Best of Show” from the Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts and numerous awards from the Watercolor Society of Oregon. Her paintings are featured at the Portland Art Museum Rental Sales Gallery in Portland, Oregon.

When not creating her own artwork, Patricia teaches workshops at Lakewood Center in Lake Oswego, Sitka Center for the Arts on the Oregon Coast and classes at Clark College in Vancouver, WA.

Two of her watercolors “Siletz Bay Hydrangea” and “Duet” are included the book Splash 12 the Best of Watercolor, published in June 2011. She authored an article, “Disappearing Guidelines”, about her artwork and techniques which was published in the WATERCOLOR Magazine 2005 winter issue.
