Chocolate Workshop • Sunday, February 5, 2012

10 am to 4 pm • at Lakewood Center for the Arts, Lake Oswego, Oregon map

Delicious fun! Join us for a 1-day watercolor workshop creating a painting of dark brown chocolate truffles with step-by-step instruction by artist, Patricia Schmidt. Learn tips on painting pattern and creating texture in a red tablecloth. Finish with lightly glazed color on the frosting tops and reflected light in the shadows. All levels of painting experience welcome.

Orchid Workshop • Sunday, February 19, 2012

10 am to 4 pm • at Lakewood Center for the Arts, Lake Oswego, Oregon map

Create a watercolor painting of an Orchid with step-by-step instruction by artist, Patricia Schmidt. Learn how to paint delicate washes of watercolor, add details with watercolor pencils, soften edges, glaze for luminous shadows, and mix a variety of greens for a foliage background. All levels of painting experience welcome.
